Ingredients
-
Butter:
1 cup = 227 grams
-
Granulated White Sugar:
1 cup = 200 grams
-
Egg:
1
-
Vanilla Extract:
1 teaspoon
-
Flour:
2 cups = 256 grams
-
Cocoa Powder:
3/4 = 95 grams
Directions
Let’s have some fun baking these cookies by cutting different cute shapes:
- Add butter and sugar to your mixer. I recommend you to use powder sugar. Cream the butter and sugar until it is completely mixed.
- Add vanilla and eggs and mix until completely incorporated.
- Mix in the flour one cups at a time, and the cocoa powder.
- Chill the dough, the cookies will bake better if the dough is chilled. I usually let the dough in the fridge overnight.
- Roll a handful of the dough out on a prepared surface and cut out shapes with a cookie cutter.
- Bake at 175 C degrees for 8-10 minutes depending on the size of the cookie. Do not over-bake!

Lemon Poppy Seed Muffins
