Fudgy Brownie Cookie

Fudgy Cho-co-la-te C-o-o-k-i-e!

It’s amazing how chocolatey, soft could be the inside of this cookie.

Ingredients

  • Butter: 

    1/2 cup = 113 grams

  • Brown Sugar: 

    1/4 cup = 50 grams

  • Granulated White Sugar: 

    1/2 cups = 100 grams

  • Egg: 

    1

  • Flour: 

    1 1/3 cups = 160 grams

  • Baking Powder: 

    1/2 teaspoon

  • Cocoa Powder: 

    1/2 cup = 60 grams

  • Salt: 

    a pinch

  • Dark Chocolate: 

    100 grams

Directions

I couldn’t wait until they were completely cooled and I highly recommend eating one when they are still warm!

Steps:

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Set aside.
  2. Microwave butter half melted! Then stir with a fork or spoon until it’s completely liquid.
  3. Combine the butter with white and brown sugar just until combined. Add egg, vanilla.
  4. Add flour, baking powder, cocoa powder, and salt and mix all together.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chunks.
  6. Roll equal sized balls out of the dough and place on the prepared baking sheet with enough space in-between.
  7. Press them down to a thickness of a thumb. Place additional chocolate on top if desired.
  8. Bake one baking sheet after another for about 10-11 minutes.
  9. Remove from oven and let them cool completely.
