Directions
Here we go again, baking together :
- Preheat oven to 200°C.
- In a large bowl add the flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, and brown sugar.
- Cut the butter into small cubes then quickly work it into the mixture until it resembles a coarse meal.
- In a small bowl whisk beat together the egg and milk.
- Mix together the liquid mixture with the dry one until a dough has formed.
- Add in the Parmesan cheese, ham, and rosemary and gently fold them into the dough with a spatula.
- Pour the dough out onto a clean, floured work surface and shape the dough into a circle. Cut the dough into 8 wedges and carefully transfer to the baking sheet.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the tops are lightly golden brown.
- Let them cool a little bit, but don’t wait too much, ‘cuz it’s the best when it’s still warm.
- Sprinkle extra ham and cheese on top of each scone before baking.
Bon Appetit! Do not forget the salted butter!
